How it works
Drop your PDF
Drag the document into the box or tap to browse. It stays on your device the whole time.
Choose the rotation
Pick 90°, 180°, or 270°. Every page of the document is rotated by that amount.
Download the fixed PDF
The same document, upright — and it stays upright for everyone you send it to.
Why use this tool
- A permanent fix saved in the file — not a temporary screen tilt
- Every page rotated at once, no page-by-page work
- Pages are restructured, never recompressed: zero quality loss
- Your documents never leave your device
About the PDF format
Sideways PDFs usually come from scanners and phone scanning apps that guess the orientation wrong — or from one upside-down signature page inside an otherwise fine document. Rotating the view in a reader only fixes your screen; the moment you send the file, it is sideways again for the next person. Rotating with a tool like this changes the pages themselves, everywhere, for good.
About the PDF format
The result is the same PDF with every page's rotation set to the new angle. Content is not recompressed or redrawn — the very same page data, simply told to stand the other way. If only one page of your document is sideways, split that page out first with the Split PDF tool, rotate it, and merge it back.
Frequently asked questions
My PDF opens sideways. How do I fix it for everyone?
Rotate it here and download the result. Unlike the rotate button in a PDF reader — which usually only turns your own view — this tool saves the rotation inside the file, so it opens upright for everyone, everywhere.
Can I rotate only one page?
This tool rotates the whole document evenly. For a single stubborn page: extract it with Split PDF, rotate the one-page result, and merge it back with Merge PDF — three quick local steps.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
Never. The rotation happens in your browser with pdf-lib. Your PDF is read and rewritten on your own device; we cannot see, store, or share it.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the pages' orientation flag changes; the content is never recompressed or redrawn, so the document is identical apart from standing the right way.
