Download your PNG files
Save each converted image with its transparency intact, ready for editing, design work, or any program that refuses WebP.
Why use this tool

About the WEBP format
WebP is an image format created by Google that websites use to make pictures smaller and pages faster. Browsers display it happily, but many other programs — image editors, office software, printers, and plenty of upload forms — still cannot open .webp files, or open them only with extra plug-ins. When the image is a logo, a sticker, a product cutout, or anything with a transparent background, converting to PNG is the safe move: nothing is lost and everything opens it.
About the PNG format
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) is a lossless format with full transparency support: the converted file keeps exactly the pixels of your WebP image, including its transparent areas. PNG is the standard working format for graphics and editing. The honest trade-off is size: PNG files are heavier than the WebP originals, and heavier than JPG for photos. If the image is a photo and size matters more than perfection, convert to JPG instead.
Frequently asked questions
Does converting WebP to PNG keep the transparent background?
Yes. PNG supports transparency natively, and this converter preserves the alpha channel exactly. That is the main reason to choose PNG over JPG for logos, icons, stickers, and product images.
Is the conversion lossless?
Yes. The WebP image is decoded once and stored in PNG's lossless format, so the PNG holds exactly the decoded pixels — no second round of lossy compression is applied.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
Never. The converter runs entirely in your browser. Your images are decoded and saved on your own device; nothing is transmitted, stored, or seen by us.
Should I choose PNG or JPG for my WebP files?
Choose PNG for graphics, logos, screenshots with text, and anything transparent or headed for editing. Choose JPG for photos you plan to share or upload — the files are much smaller and accepted in even more places.
