About the PDF format
A PDF is a document, and plenty of places only speak 'picture': a marketplace listing, a social post, a chat window, a form that accepts images but not documents. Turning pages into JPG images is also how you show one page without handing over the whole file — the page becomes an ordinary photo that opens everywhere and cannot be edited like the original.
About the JPG format
Each page is rendered as a JPG at 200 DPI — roughly 1650 × 2340 pixels for an A4 page — saved at high quality with a white background. That resolution keeps text sharp on screens and acceptable in print. If you need maximum sharpness for design work or the page has a transparent background to preserve, the PDF to PNG converter is the better sibling: same rendering, lossless files.
Frequently asked questions
How do I send one PDF page as a picture on WhatsApp or Facebook?
Convert the PDF here, download the JPG of the page you want (pages are numbered in the file names), and share that image like any photo. The rest of the document stays private on your device.
Can I convert a long PDF all at once?
Yes. Every page is converted; download them individually or use the ZIP file that is added automatically for multi-page documents. Very long documents (100+ pages) are heavy work for a phone browser — a computer handles them more comfortably.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
Never. Pages are rendered in your browser with PDF.js. Your document is read and drawn on your own device; nothing is transmitted, stored, or seen by us.
Why did my PDF become several JPG files instead of one?
Because each page becomes its own picture — that is what makes them easy to share and post. If you need one long image or a document instead, keep the PDF itself; images and documents serve different purposes.
